At the time that I bought my home I was a single mom. When I went to the sales office everyone was so accommodating, they made me feel comfortable and I loved the site’s location. I could just imagine my townhouse on the ravine, and that’s what I wanted. The initial appeal was absolutely the ravine.
The sales people were fabulous, every time I had to go in, if I had changes or questions, they were so accommodating and when it was under construction the foreman (Norman the Foreman), was so accommodating and approachable that it was just such a comfortable experience. Even the minor deficiencies (and there weren’t many) were resolved quite quickly.
I would absolutely recommend a Berkshire home to my friends/family. In fact, I was recently inquiring for my mother, as an investment. I heard you’re launching a new site in Orangeville, which I’ll have to tell my family/friends about.
The one major thing that stood out as I made my home buying decision was Berkshire’s approachability. They helped me with the decision making in terms of lot location, the floor plan selection, they helped me visualize in the end which property would be best suited for my needs. They made many helpful recommendations. The quality of the house itself has been wonderful (and I come from a construction background), its 8 years later and there have been no problems.
